CPSIA is a Serious Issue
The CPSIA became fully effective on January 1, 2012; it requires screen printers to issue a General Certificate of Conformity (GCC) for each order containing children's products produced for sale. The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has the ability to seek civil penalties of up to $100,000 for each violation, with maximum penalty amounts for a related series of violations of up to $15 million.
